OBJECTIVES : Discrimination and marginalization are significant human rights issues affecting many countries across Europe. The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) has reported an increase in racism, xenophobia, and related problems in EU member states, leading to insecurity among many young people. Additionally, research by ECRI has highlighted the widespread nature of racism and xenophobia in the EU, with verbal and physical attacks, social exclusion, and intolerant discourse becoming more prevalent.

Given this negative climate, the "Empowering Youth against Discrimination- EYAD" project aims to raise awareness among European youth. It seeks to empower young people to generate ideas and policies on discrimination, foster cross-border cooperation, and adapt policies to the cultural conditions of their own regions.
